| Description: ADAM’S MODEL 1867A REVOLVER .450 CF, SERIAL No. 866 A very rare early revolver with British Government Store markings, most likely one of a batch submitted to the British War Department for trial early 1868 (Ref: “Adam’s Book” by Chamberlain, page 124); 5 7/8 inch barrel stamped “ADAM’S PATENT SMALL ARMS COMPANY, 391 STRAND LONDON”; right side of frame stamped “ADAMS’S PATENT No. 866”; left side of frame stamped with “Crown over GS/ M”; complete with its original holster and shoulder strap, which has loops for spare cartridges; in very good working condition with thinning original finish. $1450. 00 |
