| Description: Model 1851 Adam’s Percussion Revolver with original Case & Accessories .54 bore, 6 1/2 inch barrel with five shot cylinder; barrel stamped: - “DEANE ADAMS & DEANE, MAKERS TO HRH PRINCE ALBERT, 30 KING WILLIAM ST LONDON BRIDGE”; this engraved pistol retains about 80% of its original bright blue finish; perfect working order; a spring loaded cap compartment is fitted to the bottom of the chequered walnut grip; cylinder pin is an excellent replacement. The original oak case has long ago been subjected to internal mould and dampness and is now stripped bare of lining and partitions, although the original Adam’s label was rescued; the key escutcheon is missing. Accessories are all in fine condition, comprising an Adam’s double cavity bullet mould, a “G. & J.W. Hawksley” powder flask with traces of original varnish, the original cleaning rod, and an Eley cap tin. A great opportunity to obtain a genuine cased gold rush revolver with original accessories at a bargain price; when correctly relined and partitioned its value would be greatly increased.
