ALL FIREARMS MUST BE TRANSFERRED THROUGH A LICENSED FIREARMS DEALER
These rifles were standard US Army issue during the Indian Wars & used by General Custer's ill fated 7th Cav at the Battle of Little Big Horn.

This example has the original two band walnut full stock which is regiment stamped, Buffington rear sight & unusually, it retains the original cleaning rod.

All metal surfaces have turned a rich chocolate brown patina as can be seen in the photos. Stampings are sharp.

The rifle functions correctly, the bore is really clean & sharp so this should be a great black powder shootable Trapdoor rifle for those who want to shoot a genuine black powder era service rifle which has been there & done that, not a replica.

Make your decision based on what you see, so please view the photos carefully as they form the main description & override all written information.

This unique piece of history is part of a shipment from the US which is currently waiting for clearance from Australian Customs & we expect it will be here in the first week of July.

It is available to purchase now with a deposit.

Do your research & you will find this is a rare & collectable rifle which would be pride of place in any serious collection.

As with all used guns, we recommend you have this checked by a suitably qualified person prior to shooting.
