The plain and smooth receiver hides a deceptive number of useful features that shooters often don’t think about when purchasing a new shotgun, too. A standard, intuitive, cross-bolt safety makes safe operation of this firearm come naturally to shooters of all experience levels, and a manual magazine tube cutoff switch can be accessed from the left-hand side of the receiver, allowing the shooter to empty the magazine tube without cycling each round through the action. There is also an automatic bolt-stop that prevents shooters from inadvertently closing the action on an empty chamber; something we think more firearms should have.
