For sale, a Sauer Model 200S bolt action repeating rifle in 30-06 Springfield.
Established in 1751, JP Sauer & Son have been making exceptional firearms for over 270 years.
This rifle presents in good to very good used condition. Ramped blade fore sight with single fixed rear leaf sight. Bright, clean bore with sharp rifling. Slight storage/handling marks and slight loss of blue finish to barrel. Slight discolouration to magazine plate. Anitque silver coin finish to action with fine scroll engraving.
The Monte Carlo Grade 3 walnut two piece stock with rosewood forend and pistol grip cap have been expertly re-finished and are in excellent condition. Crisp chequer with right hand palm swell and right hand cheek piece.
Crisp single, push forward set gold trigger and super smooth bolt action cycles and ejects cartridges flawlessly. Recknagel pivot bases.
