For sale a classic Ruger No. 1 in 450/400 3” Nitro Express.
I bought this rifle new and have had it in my own collection for 15 years. The rifle has not been used more than twice at the range firing a total of less than 50 rounds. This rifle is a modern Farquharson in a powerful and classic calibre.
Rifle in near new condition with perfect breech & bore. Rifling is sharp and action has a tight lockup The safety has been modified to allow the ejected cartridge to be thrown clear of the rifle. The metal work and bluing is unmarked. The rifle has a folding rear sight to allow the fitment of a scope if preferred.
The rifle’s timber work is lightly marked with a comfortable recoil pad fitted.
