Ex-Israeli Defence Force (IDF) issued K98 Mauser in Good Condition. These rifles were converted by the IDF to fire 7.62 NATO from 1958 onwards following the adoption of the FN FAL - (Designated the SLR L1A1 among Commonwealth Nations such as the United Kingdom and Australia). They can fire commercial 308W due to the fact that they were previously chambered for 8mm Mauser (7.92x57mm) and have a large ring Mauser receiver
These rifles likely saw service in the 1967 Six Day War to the 1973 Yom Kippur War among Command Support Service/Logistics units (Drivers, Quartermasters, Cooks, Clerks and Radio Communication Operators)
Ideal for collectors and historical military re-enactments/displays
Firearm is Category B in all jurisdictions
Specifications:
1. Barrel in very good condition, with clear and defined rifling
2. Matching receiver and bolt
3. Cock on open action
4. Large ring receiver
5. Internal 5 round magazine which feeds from stripper clips
6. Some minor cosmetic wear on the wood and metal (storage/handling marks etc)
