Selling for a customer on consignment his rare to find and seldom seen for sale Weatherby Athena Shotgun fitted with even rarer 32-inch O/U ventilated barrels. The gun comes fitted with quality recoil pad (soft with no cracks) with factory and standard 14.5 " LOP, magnificently figured checkered claro walnut stock and forearm, trade mark Weatherby diamond inlay on pistol grip, tastefully executed engraved satin nickel receiver, trigger-guard and sideplates, single select trigger, ejectors, and high polish blue finished barrels. The gun is in very good to near excellent condition, retaining 90% of its original blue finishes and 100% of its original satin nickel finishes. The stock and forearm retain all of their original finishes, with assorted very minor handling marks. This is a superb, rare example of a firearm not often offered for sale in this country and would make a great long term investment or family heirloom.
