circa 1975, 26in. unsighted nitro reproved barrel (in 2024), engraved at the breech-end 'SHARPS ARMS COMPANY. HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT, U.S.A.' on the right and 'SHARPS SPORTING RIFLE. CALIBER 25-06 REM.' on the left, receiver fitted with a Leupold 3x9 Vari-X II telescopic sight, serial no. 541161, automatic safety marked 'CS' and 'FR', set trigger, plain blued receiver, the underlever with acanthus scroll detailing, ornately chequered pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, sprung cartridge trap engraved 'SHARPS' surrounded by acanthus scrollwork, 13 3/4in. pull including trademark rubber recoil pad, beavertail fore-end, sling eyes, weight 10lb. 5oz.
