SWEDISH MAUSER 2nd HAND T4938 Chambered in 6.5x55 Swede With a known reputation of being a well made firearm, the Swedish Mauser shoots the highly capable 6.5 x 55 round accurately out to some extreme distances. This firearm has been chopped and sporterized to make it into a more hunting inspired firearm. Lucky that it does have all matching numbered parts, bolt and action, and mainly been the stock that has suffered from the modifications. The stock has been spliced from the original inletted stock with a more trading hunting shaped butt stock (shown in the photos). The bore is clean and the rifling in good condition for the age of this firearm. Like most of these firearms, the throat is worn and has evidence of fire pitting from general use; this doesn't mean that the firearm won't shoot. Buyer to pay postage.
