Description

Enfield 1860 Percussion Muzzle Loader, black powder Carbine rifle, apparently used in the American Civil War. It’s in good condition but the spring has been removed, so hammer cocks but doesn’t strike the cap. It has a custom made ramrod that isn’t original. There are no markings on the rifle. There are 3 notches on the butt apparently indicating kills. Rare & unique, & being pre 1900 this makes it legal as a wall hanger or an active weapon, no licence required. Seville East, Victoria.
