LOT.333 RARE GERMAN WW2 GRANATBUCHSE GRB39 RIFLE: 7.92CAL CAT.B Mint condition, single shot falling block action; 24" barrel, exc bore, fitted with grenade launching cup; originally an anti-tank rifle firing 7.92x94mm rounds, the rifles were ineffective against modern tanks and converted to fire anti-tank grenades; metalwork is in excellent condition, some wear marks on receiver and stock; distinct markings include 'cpj 40' and 'cpj41' indicating manufacture in 1940 and conversion in 1941, and Waffenamt; fitted with grenade launching sight, carry handle, bipod, folding stock; action opens by pushing base of grip forward; GWO, overall in excellent condition, a rare German anti-tank rifle; S/N 24348.
