No4 Mk2 Lee Enfield (ROF) 3/54

No4 Mk2 Lee Enfield Dated 3/54 and serial PF375298 Made by Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) at Fazakerley. Matching serial on action, bolt, magazine and under fore-end. Post war production for (probably) the Royal Air Force contract, then placed straight into long-term storage. The Mk 2's trigger hung directly from the forward part of the receiver/butt collar rather than the trigger guard. This improved trigger pull consistency. Barrel is as-new; stops a .3015 bore gauge. Has fired 250 rounds only, and is very accurate. Woodwork and metalwork have some small marks. Otherwise a particularly good looking and desirable rifle Shipping is $50
