The rifle is chambered in the Classic & easily available 35 Wheelan cartridge with similar power to the great 9.3 x 62 Mauser and sports a nicely black blued barrel for full ballistic performance and the well figured straight stock with shadow line check piece and quality Pachmayr recoil pad and comes complete with period Leupold VX11 3-9 x40mm scope. This is a beautifully balanced highly desirable and collectable Custom Sako L61R in a very useable and practical large game calibre and a great chance for the enthusiast or shooter to own an ideal example of some of the best-known Australian artisans.
