Holland & Holland 12-bore "Royal" sidelock ejector, Serial number 16773. 27-inch replacement nitro barrels (by the makers in 1979), tubes engraved "Holland & Holland 13, Bruton Street. London." 2 ¾ inch chambers, bored approx 1/4 and 1/2 choke, toplever gold inlaid "2", automatic safety with gold-inlaid "SAFE" detail, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, triggers set for the left hand, best bold scroll engraving, retaining much renewed colour-hardening and finish, 14 1/4 inch boldly-figured replacement stock, cast for the left shoulder, weight 6 lb. 7 oz, in a Holland & Holland leather case.
The gun was manufactured in 1897.
