Offered for sale is this mint condition Winchester pump action which was used by the original owner for sporting clays.
According to records, this gun was manufactured in 1989, so not bad for a 36 year old gun!
The Model 1300 was introduced in 1978 carrying on from the Model 1200 & production ceased in 2006, making this a desirable gun.
Over time Winchester made a few improvements to the Model 1200 design, making it choke-ready & adding a 3'' chamber, made it easier to disassemble until finally Winchester decided they had made enough improvements to the gun for a new model designation. The Winchester 1300 is the culmination of all of the additions & upgrades made to the Model 1200.
The most noticeable feature of the 1300 was the “speed pump” design. The slide releases as the trigger is pulled making for a very fast action. Inside the gun, there is a rotating bolt. As the action pulls rearward, the bolt exerts both rearward & rotational force on the shell, which guarantees positive ejection. This bolt design is also a bit of a forceful unlock & the pump seems to want to move by itself.
The pump forend features an American walnut design that’s big & beefy, making running the gun easy.
The barrel is 28'' with a Modified choke, the stock is gorgeous American Walnut & as you’d expect it has a 14'' length of pull.
You'll need a Cat C license for this baby, so please don't ask to buy if you don't have this license.
