MLE is abbreviation for "Magazine, Lee Enfield" as was adopted on the transitioning period when Commonwealth forces were swapping their single shot black powder rifles to the new 303 cartridge rifles with multiple shots.
This rifle would make for a good collectors piece due to the fact the bore and rifling are in very poor condition from years of use in the field.
Being completely in original state, the only thing that is missing is the rear volley sight, otherwise the timber stock has held up pretty well.
