Chambered in 303 British
Produced for the Commonwealth forces as a main front line weapon from the early 1900's, all the way through to the late 1960's as a designated marksman versions.
This rifle presents in good condition, including both the timber stock and the finish to the metal components.
The bore and rifling are completely different, with the bore dark and pitted under optics and the rifling presenting in fairly worn shape.
Bolt and action have corresponding serial numbers, while the nose cap has been replaced at some point in its life.
