A very nice WW2 Lee Enfield no4 mk1, dated 1942!
Maker marked S for Savage.
Marked N 2176 above the butt stock near the bolt, also marked N 49 under the butt stock, and many more markings on the bolt receiver and so on. 5 groove barrel and very accurate, The stock is very good condition with a few digs as expected for a service rifle, metal work/barrel is very good condition also. Original sling included. Only fired a few shot since owning the rifle.
