Barrel Rib is Marked " William & Grey 45 Old Bond St London 2" The gun is dated 1876 on the action flat. The Barrels are 750 mm with a covering of 100% Fine Damascus Pattern. The gun is marked not for Ball. It has Chokes. Dirty pitting in the Bright Bores. Would improve with a vigourus Clean. Test fired OK with light trap loads. 8/6/23. Black Powder. Has a Dolls Head extension which also serves as a suport for the extractor. Action is tight even without the Fore Wood in place. Locks are tight as is the hammers. LH Hammer is a perfect replacement but has not been engraved. Quality engraveing on all metal. Replacement stock with matching Chequering to the forewood. Presents well.
