Offered for sale to the serious collector of Colt commemorative handguns is this relatively rare gun made by Colt at the request of the Texas Dept. of Public Safety celebrating 50 years, from 1935-1985.
The Texas Dept. of Public Safety was formed in 1935 & incorporates the Texas Rangers.
According to the serial number, this gun is number 291 out of 1,200 & comes as you see it, cased & presenting as new & unfired!
