Offered for sale to the discerning collector is this early war Walther PP, made in 1940 according to records & as indicated by the Crown over N proof markings & the deep, high gloss rust blue finish.
This is a matching numbered gun & we suspect it was purchased by a Party member (you couldn't buy one unless you were) & never much holstered, judging by the lack of wear on the high points.
We have yet to determine the significance of the capital P stamped on the frame near the S/N which appears to be an overstamp? This may be a bit of homework for the new owner & who knows, it may reveal itself as something really valuable!
As can be seen in the photos, the grips are in mint condition & have no cracks or chips. We know these are the original grips as they are cut a little low on the right side, displaying some of the working parts & this was a known thing with early war grips.
Nicely the original main magazine with the finger extension remains with the gun as these are often lost over time.
Do your own research & you will decide it this is for you. These are the only photos we have until it arrives som make your decision based on what you see here.
This is available to buy before it arrives from Germany which we expect to be very early 2026 but it may be a chrissy pressie for someone if we're lucky.
We have a unique policy so you can buy with the knowledge that if it is not as described when you receive it just return it to us for a refund.
