Overall very good condition Swedish Mauser M96/38. Made by Carl Gustaf in 1900. Made as a long rifle but been converted into a short rifle in late 30s. Pretty rare, being 1 of the 55000.
Bolt and all bolt parts, and butt plate are amazingly matching to the rifle. But front barrel band is mis match.
Timber stock made by beech wood, which is in very good condition, only minor brush at the end of the stock.
All metal is VGC as well, blue is all remaining and no surface rust at all.
Bore is around 7/10. Although little bit frosty in the landings, Rifling is crisp and clear, and no pit or rust. Crown is good as well.
Action cycles butter smooth.
Has the factory thread muzzle for firing blank ammo.
A good piece of collection as well as a good shooter. Can shoot into a 5 inch group at 100 meter easily.
