Colt Shooting Master .357 Magnum revolver, s/n 341769, date of manufacture 1937.
An opportunity to own a rare piece of Colt history, with this superb revolver. First introduced as a high-quality target revolver in .38 Special to marksmen at the August 1931 National Matches at Camp Perry, Ohio, the Shooting Master was made available by special order in 1936, in .357 Magnum. Only 500 were made in this calibre, making it one of the rarer Colt revolvers. Shooting Masters are superbly fitted and finished revolvers, literally the very best of pre-war gunmaking at Colt's.
