WW2 Japanese Army officer grade katana, maker signed tang with factory painted khangi to the reverse, no nicks to blade edge, harmon is bright and playful, some minor scratches and marks to the blade but nothing dramatic, tang has a heavy patina, handle wrap in good condition, some ray skin on the grip has lifted, matching numbers on spacers, suba and handle cap, scabbard latch present, lanyard loop, steal scabbard, leather combat cover with handle retention strap, rare original leather sword hanger with brass hooks, snaps and the remnant's of a blue felt backing.
