PATENTED CALIBER CONVERSION SYSTEM

The SLX features simple calibre conversions and are made to be easy in the field without the need for specialised tools. The billet aluminium receiver is machined to locate the barrel in the same place every time with a large contact area to ensure a precise fit.

BARREL MOUNTED SCOPE MOUNT

All SLX Barrels feature an integrated MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail scope base (12MOA as standard) that is mounted directly to the barrel allowing the SLX to change barrels without the need for re-zeroing and it actually works as advertised.

INNOVATIVE BARREL RIFLING

All R&S monolithic barrels are rifled on our proprietary CNC-controlled electrochemical rifling machine. The process avoids the transmission of heat and mechanical stresses that the traditional rifling process places on a barrel giving Ritter & Stark the ability to produce barrels with unique uniformity within tolerances that have never been possible in factory production.

INTEGRATED LOCKING LUGS

A monolithic barrel design that integrates the locking lugs into the barrel is used to achieve the highest degree of accuracy and consistency. All Barrels are matched to an interchangeable bolt head, both are serialised, enabling unmatched accuracy and consistency even when regularly changing barrels.

3-POSITION SAFETY

Three positions on the bolt mounted safety allow the rifle to be placed in one of three conditions, FIRE making the rifle ready to fire, SAFE that disengages the sear with the firing pin cocked, or LOCKED that allows the firing pin to be cocked with the sear disengaged and the bolt locked in the closed position.

TRIGGER

Compatible with all Remington 700 triggers, we say again, the SLX is compatible with all Remington 700 triggers. However, the SLX ships with a two-stage competition ready trigger that is fully adjustable from 600g to 1500g (1.3 lbs. to 3.3 lbs).

SR-25 PATTERN MAGAZINE WELL

The SLX is designed to accept all SR-25/LR-308 pattern magazines giving the rifle a wide range of magazine options

MAGAZINES

Detachable double stack magazines are standard, and the rifle is supplied with one Magpul PMAG 10 LR/SR GEN3 magazine.

HANDGUARD

An M-LOK handguard was developed that not only offers M-LOK attachment points at the 12, 1:30, 3, 4:30, 6, 7:30, 9, and 10:30 o’clock positions, but allows the use of accessory rails mounted directly with M5 screws. The handguard was designed to allow the rifle’s optic to be mounted as low as possible offering a more stable firing position.

FULLY ADJUSTABLE BUTTSTOCK

The height and angle of the cheek piece, length of pull, and recoil pad are all fully adjustable to the end user. The stock also incorporates a capped Picatinny rail for easy addition of a monopod.

OPTIONAL FOLDING STOCK ADAPTOR

The SLX is compatible with an optional folding stock adaptor that allows the stock to be folded either left or right and works with and AR-15 style buttstock.

SURFACE TREATMENT OF STEEL PARTS

Ever steel part in the SLX rifle receives a special treatment to increase the surface hardness and enhance the part’s core strength and corrosion resistance.

HIGH-EFFICIENCY MUZZLE BRAKE

High efficiency R&S muzzle brake fitted to M18x1 muzzle thread. Other muzzle threads available upon request.

GUARANTEED PRECISION

Every rifle is proof-shot tested for safety and accuracy at the factory in a state-of-the-art indoor shooting range. The Ritter and Stark SLX Rifle is guaranteed to be capable of 0.5MOA accuracy for a minimum of 5000 rounds.
