The Pixfra Draco is a multi-spectral binocular — and multi-spectral is the whole story. Inside one comfortable, two-eyed device sit two complete imaging systems: a thermal channel that finds warm-bodied animals through grass, scrub and total darkness, AND a 4K UHD digital day/night channel that delivers the natural, detailed colour image you need to identify exactly what you've found. A built-in 1,000m laser rangefinder closes the loop.
Find with thermal. Identify with 4K. Range with the laser. One binocular, three jobs, day or night.
Three models — pick your thermal sensor:
D225 — $1,790 · 256×192 thermal · 25mm lens · ≤18mK NETD · 1,300m detection — the value entry
D335 — $2,990 · 384×288 thermal · 35mm lens · ≤15mK NETD · 1,800m detection — the value sweet spot
D635 — $3,990 · 640×512 thermal · 35mm lens · ≤15mK NETD · 1,800m detection — the high-res flagship
Each is offered in 850nm IR (max reach ~400m, very faint glow) or 940nm IR (fully covert, no glow, ~350m) — same price either way.
Shared across every Draco:
Thermal + 4K UHD digital channel — switch between, or picture-in-picture
Built-in 1,000m laser rangefinder — ±1m precision
PIPS 3.0 image processing
0.49" OLED display, 1920×1080
Dual-band WiFi (2.4/5GHz) + 64GB onboard storage
Built-in GPS + compass
Replaceable 18650 battery — ~8-9 hours, USB-C charging
IP67 rated, -30°C to +55°C operating envelope
Light (~620g), ergonomic, comfortable two-handed body
3-year Pixfra warranty — assessed and repaired in Australia by C.R. Kennedy, not posted back to China
The smart-money pitch. The Draco's direct rival is the HikMicro Habrok 4K — same category, same concept. Here's how the lineups line up:
D225 ($1,790) vs HikMicro Habrok HE25L ($2,499) — Pixfra is ~$700 cheaper AND has the better NETD (≤18mK vs ≤35mK)
D635 ($3,990) vs HikMicro Habrok HQ35L ($5,599) — Pixfra is ~$1,600 cheaper AND better NETD (≤15mK vs ≤20mK)
D635 ($3,990) vs HikMicro Habrok Pro HQ50L ($6,499) — Pixfra is ~$2,500 cheaper at matched ≤15mK NETD
HikMicro doesn't even have a 384-sensor model in the Habrok 4K line — the Draco D335 fills a tier that doesn't exist anywhere else.
