Savage Model 99EG lever action rifle in .300 Savage, manufactured 1953.Confirmed complete original specifications.
Rifle presents in excellent condition as follows:
1. Action and barrel has been completely reblued including original steel butt plate.
2. Timber refinished in excellent order except for #3
3. Appears to be a very minor crack repair in the tang….as per picture.
4. Mechanically seems to be excellent and operates well.
5. Barrel bore seems excellent.
6. Includes letter of authenticity from Savage Arms.
7. Lyman tang-mounted aperture sight
8. 100 rounds of .300 Savage Remington Core Lokt ammo (60x150gr and 40x180gr), and Savage reference books by David Royal and Rory Renoldson available for Tasmanian purchaser at a negotiated price.
Rifle purchased some years ago at an online site auction on a whim, and I've never used it.
Selling to refine my gun cabinet with Ruger No.1 and falling blocks.
Shipping at purchasers expense.
