Advertising rifle that was acquired from a hunter with an A/B licence who is looking to downsize in light of recent changes to NSW firearm laws

Firearm is a Category B in all states and territories (including NSW)
Early SMLE No. MKIII* - magazine cut off and original cocking piece is present. Made in Lithgow during 1916. Barrel is in excellent condition and has likely had very few rounds through it, given its deep, well defined rifling. Barrel has virtually no traces of rust, pitting or scaring. Matching bolt and receiver. Some exterior cosmetic wear on the metal and wooden parts. Rear sight protectors are loose. Irrespective, the rifle has been safe queen.
