These rifles were the next evolution from the standard muzzle loading firearms; the Martini falling block action offered easy to use black powder cartridges, allowed the average solider to reload and fire quickly & accurately.
This firearm presents in good condition, with the bore being clean and the rifling, under optics, presenting in very good condition.
The barrel has been replaced at some stage, with a new forend and iron sights fitted.
