New Merkel 140AE Safari Side-by-Side Double Rifle – .375 H&H Magnum
A genuine German workhorse built for serious dangerous-game hunting. This brand-new Merkel 140AE is chambered in the classic .375 H&H Magnum — the proven all-rounder for African plains game and dangerous game alike. .416 Rigby is also available.
Merkel’s modified Anson & Deeley boxlock action with Greener cross-bolt and double underlug locking delivers the reliability professional hunters trust. Both mechanical systems operate independently, so a second shot is always there when it matters. 60 cm hard-soldered barrels, automatic ejectors, express sights with folding leaves for quick or precise shots, and a hinged front trigger complete a practical, no-nonsense setup.
The walnut stock features a cheekpiece, straight comb and rubber buttplate. Overall length is 102 cm and weight starts from 4.6 kg — compact, well-balanced and ready for the field.
