No.5 MK1 “Jungle Carbine”
Made at the Royal Ordnance Factory (ROF) in Fazakerley.
This No.5 rates as very good condition.
Marking on side of action indicate it has been thru a FTR program.
Other than 2 small cracks in top hand guard, the wood is very nice, unmarked, and solid.
Metal work has most of the original black coating remaining.
Rubber butt pad is unmarked and not flattened like many.
Matching numbers on action, magazine and bolt.
Surprisingly accurate, with a good clean bore.
Perfect for a collector or a shooter.
