Designed for Prone and ISU 3 Position Standard rifle competition,
this is a classic 1970s British target rifle in Very Good Order complete with 2 butt spacers, swivel, handstop and original aperture sights. Timber has not been altered from the original. Action is Martini tilting block.
Includes:
Original Parker Hale aperture sights and aperture sight inserts.
Original handstop, sling swivel, butt plate adjustment pieces.
Vintage leather shooting glove and leather and horsehair sling for prone or 3P.
And a copy of the care and maintenance booklet.
The rear sight is a disc style aperture peep sight, with 6 aperture sizes which are selected by rotating the disc. The front sight has the standard removable inserts. The butt plate is adjustable up and down about 30mm.
Very rare rifle in little used condition which I imported from England. I have never seen a Mk. IV for sale in Australia.
